The fourth season of Netflix’s most anticipated show La Casa de Papel a.k.a Money Heist will premiere on April 3, 2020. Netflix has released an episode-by-episode teaser that has raised the excitement level to a new peak. After the super success of the first three seasons, fans are eagerly waiting for the fourth season. A teaser dropped by Netflix warns fans to get ready for something crazy.

A teaser gives a breakdown of all eight episodes. Here is what you can expect (major spoilers alert):-

Game Over (Episode 1) – Showcasing El Profesor whimpering likely because of his beloved Raquel in the season 3 finale.

Berlin’s Wedding (Episode 2) – A flashback to Berlin’s wedding.

Anatomy Lesson (Episode 3) – Looks like a deadlock between Denver and someone mysterious.

When will Money Heist season 4 release? 

Contrary to some reports, Money Heist season 4 is indeed landing on 3 April at 3 PM ET in the United States. A documentary involving the producers and the cast will premiere on Netflix the same day, titled Money Heist: The Phenomenon. according to Spanish film magazine Fotogramas, the documentary will include testimonies from creator Alex Pina, his partners, as well as members of the cast.

Well, the trailer suggests that all of the thieves are back. The Professor/Salvador “Salva” Martin (Álvaro Morte), Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), Raquel/Lisbon (Itziar Ituño), Denver (Jaime Lorente Lopez), Nairobi (Alba Flores), Helsinki (Darko Peric), Monica/Stockholm (Esther Acebo), Bogotá (Hovik Keuchkerian), Palermo (Rodrigo de la Serna), and Marsella (Luka Peros). We will also see Inspector detective Alicia and Gandí (José Manuel Poga).

What happened in season 3?

The story of Money Heist revolves around a group of unique robbers named after different cities of the world. The robbers plan the greatest robbery in the history of Spain under the supervision of The Professor, the mastermind.

The third season was a huge hit. Here is the summary of season 3:

The Professor and Lisbon teamed up with their crew to rob the Bank of Spain to honour Berlin (one of the crew members) and to demand authorities release Rio. The main aim of the robbers was to enter the secret compartment and steal all the Spanish government’s secrets.

The heist was going as per plan but it gets derailed after the release of Rio. Nairobi (crew member) was shot in the chest by the police after Alicia (Inspector) tricked her into standing by a window to see her son for the first time since he was taken away from her years ago.  Season 3 ends with Tokio saying, “And that’s how the war began.”
