Veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty is known for his high spirits energy of a 20-year-old man. However, the reports are that Mithun Da is not keeping well.
The dancing legend’s continued absence from the Bollywood scene has led to speculation about his health for a while now. His not being a part of any Bollywood project and not even a part of this season of ‘Dance India Dance’ has got his fans worried and curious. His manager has now confirmed the bad news that the veteran actor is not keeping well and is resting in Los Angeles, USA.
Vijay, the manager confirms, “Dada is unwell and not in Mumbai. He is not using his phone and has decided to rest himself in Los Angeles for at least a month. It’s been nearly two weeks now since he flew out, and he will return only by end of this month.”
“Dada also had a hairline fracture in his back, but thankfully he doesn’t need a surgery,” he added.
Mithun’s back problems apparently started from the time he hurt his back in a stunt for ‘Luck’ in 2009. Mithun had to jump from a helicopter in one scene and hurt his back after mistiming his jump,
Vijay revealed, “Dada mistimed his jump and thereafter his back started giving him too much trouble.”
Since that injury, Mithun Da, who was last seen on the big screen in ‘Akira’, has aggravated his health condition by being a part of many action sequences. Now, he’s taken time out to recuperate in the relative anonymity of LA.
