Mirzapur season 2 is the most awaited Hindi web series. New reports suggest that the show will release in Aug 2020.
If there is one web series, the whole country is waiting for then it has to be Mirzapur season 2. After the blockbuster success of the first season, fans are super excited for the release of the upcoming season. Released in 2018, the dark thrilling web series took the country by storm and left everyone asking for more. Every now and then fans trend hashtags like #Mirzapur2KabAaega, #ReleaseMirzapur2 on Twitter. This shows how eager the fans are to witness the revenge story of Guddu, Munna and Kaleen Bhaiya.
‘Mirzapur 2 Kab Aaraha Hai?’ is one of the most trending questions in recent times. In January, Amazon Prime Video announced its lineup of 14 shows to release in 2020. This lineup has names like The Family Man 2 and Mirzapur 2. There were reports that Mirzapur 2 would be premiered in November or December. However, some new reports suggest that Amazon Prime Video and the makers are planning to release Mirzapur season 2 in August this year.
Recently while talking to Bollywood website Koimoi, Mirzapur 2 actress Shweta Tripathi who plays Golu said, “The post-production was going on pretty well and on time but because of lockdown it’s stopped right now. I hope everything falls in its place soon. So as of now, there is no guarantee, but I can promise Jab Aaega Tab BHAUKAAL Zaroor Hoga.”
There is no official announcement from the makers or the streaming giant. The post-production work was going in full swing before the lockdown puts it on halt. August release seems a bit difficult as the industry is expected to remain shut for at least 6 more weeks.

What will happen in season 2?
Mirzapur stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi, Vikrant Messey, Rasika Dugal among others. In the second season, Guddu will take revenge of his brother Bablu and his wife Sweety’s death from Munna Bhaiya. Rati Shankar’s son will create trouble for Kaleen Bhaiya to avenge the death of his father.
