Malang Lifetime Collection & Verdict: Aditya-Disha starrer Malang is an average hit at the box office with the lifetime collection of Rs 58.1 crore.
Mohit Suri’s action-drama film ‘Malang’ has performed well at the box office. Despite mixed reviews, the film manages to impress the audience. After a decent opening week with the collection of Rs 39.65 crore, Aditya-Disha starrer holds well in the second week. It crossed Rs 50 crore mark on the 12th day of its release. Malang is benefitted by the poor performance of Kartik and Sara starrer Love Aaj Kal. The box office collection of after 3 weeks stands at Rs 58+ crore. The lifetime box office collection of Malang is expected to be around Rs 60 crore.

Malang got off to a pretty good opening as it collected Rs 6.71 crore on day 1. It witnessed good growth over the weekend, collecting Rs 8.89 crore and Rs 9.76 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The film had a good opening weekend with the collection of Rs 25.36 crore.

After a good opening weekend, the film saw a routine drop on Monday. It collected Rs 4.04 crore on its fourth day (Monday). Disha-Aditya starrer remains steady on weekdays to end the first week with the collection of Rs 39.65 crore. For Aditya Roy Kapur, it was the highest opening week.
In the second week, Malang faced considerable drop as the screens were reduced due to new release Love Aaj Kal. Malang collected just Rs 2.25 crore on its 8th day. However, the film saw good growth over the second weekend due to rejection of Love Aaj Kal. In the second week, Malang collected Rs 13.21 crore.
