Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Love Aaj Kal’ continues to struggle as it dips further on Wednesday. The film is completely rejected by the audience. It crashed on the fourth day, with the collection down by 80% compared to the first day. It earned just Rs 2.75 crore on Monday. On Tuesday, the film dips further collected just Rs 2.2 crore. Now, on Wednesday, the film goes down below Rs 2 crore. Love Aaj Kal 6th day box office collection is around Rs 1.8 crore. The total collection of the film after six days stands at around Rs 33.5 crore.
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Love Aaj Kal got off to a terrific opening due to Valentine’s Day. It earned Rs Rs 12.40 crore to become Kartik Aaryan’s highest opening day grosser. However, as word of mouth came into play, the film witnessed a huge drop on Saturday and collected just Rs 8.01 crore. On Sunday, the film remained flat at the box office and collected Rs 8.10 crore.
As expected Love Aaj Kal crashed at the box office on Monday. The film saw a drop of around 80% in the collections on Monday which indicates how badly the audience has rejected it. The first-week collection of Love Aaj Kal is expected to be around Rs 35 crore.

Love Aaj Kal box office verdict: Hit or Flop
No point of guessing that Love Aaj Kal will be an epic failure at the box office. Thanks to Valentine’s Day that it has crossed Rs 30 crore mark else the numbers would have been disastrous. The film halts the super run of Kartik Aryan who had three back to back hits with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
The budget of Love Aaj Kal is around Rs 70 crore. It needs to earn at least Rs 70 crore to become a box office hit. Well, there is no chance that the film can achieve this number from here. Love Aaj Kal will be a big box office flop with the lifetime collection of around Rs 40 crore. However, still, it is a profitable film for the makers as the distribution rights were sold for Rs 40 crore. The makers have also made a good amount through music, satellite and digital rights.
