April 2002 turned out a poor month for Bollywood. All four big releases, Attack, Jersey, Runway 34 and Heropanti 2 tanked at the box office. KGF Chapter 2 was the movie of the month as its Hindi version collects more than Rs 400 Crore. The Hindi version of one of the biggest disasters of the year, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s romantic drama Radhe Shyam is now streaming on Netflix.
Thar

Anil Kapoor and his son Harsh Vardhan Kapoor starrer Thar is an Indian neo-Western thriller set in the 1980s. Directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary, the story follows an antique dealer who arrives in a desert village amid a series of violent murders.
Beast
Platform: Netflix
Release Date: May 11, 2022
Thalapathy Vijay’s action entertainer Beast which debuted in theatres last month failed to make much impact at the box office. After a box office debacle, the movie will make its OTT debut on Netflix and Sun NXT.
Starring Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan and Yogi Babu, the movie is about a spy’s quest to rescue people held hostage in a shopping mall by terrorists.
The Kashmir Files
Platform: Zee5
Release Date: May 13, 2022
The biggest Bollywood blockbuster of the year, The Kashmir Files, will make its OTT debut on Zee5 on May 13. The movie presents a storyline centred around an exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir. The Kashmir Files stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi.
Attack
Platform: Zee5
Release Date: May 27, 2022
John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakulpreet Singh’s Attack is a good thriller. It failed at the box office due to poor promotions. Attack is expected to get good viewership when it debuts on Zee5 on May 27.
KGF Chapter 2
Platform: Amazon Prime Video
Release Date: May 27, 2022
The biggest blockbuster of the year, KGF 2, will debut on OTT sooner than you expected. Amazon Prime Video has acquired the streaming rights for a whopping Rs 320 Crore.
Jersey
Platform: Netflix
Release Date: Third or fourth week of May
Despite being a good movie, Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey failed to make an impact at the box office. Now, the makers would be hoping for huge success when the movie debuts on Netflix in the second half of May.
Heropanti 2
Platform: Amazon Prime Video
Release Date: May 27, 2022
Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer action thriller Heropanti 2 debuted in theatres on April 29, 2022. It was a box office disaster with earning of around Rs 20 Crore in India. Now, the movie is set to make its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video on May 27, 2022.
