It’s the season of sequels, Katrina Kaif to play a mastermind like Sushmita Sen in Aankhen 2.

Remember the 2002 heist thriller movie Aankhen featuring Amitabh Bahchan, Akshay Kumar, Sushmita Sen, Arjun Rampal and PAresh Rawal? If latest reports are to be believed, director Anees Bazmee is planning the the sequel and Katrina Kaif to play a mastermind like Sushmita Sen in Aankhen 2.

According to the report of a leading daily, Katrina Kaif is currently in talks with Anees Bazmee to play the central character in the sequel of Aankhen. A source close to the development revealed that “Scripting of the sequel has been completed. Like in the original, where Sushmita Sen plans the bank robbery, the sequel has a woman as the mastermind. Paperwork is still to be completed but an announcement will be made soon. Katrina is also on the verge of signing two other big banner films which will roll this year. She is currently working out her dates for all the three projects.”

Reportedly, the sequel will also feature Anil Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. The complete cast of the film will be announced soon and the movie will go on floors by end of this year.
