Bollywood young sensation Kartik Aaryan won million hearts as he donates Rs. 1 Crore to PM Narendra Modi’s CARES fund.
While the whole country is under lockdown to combat the spread of Coronavirus, PM Narendra Modi announced the creation of the PM-CARES. While announcing about PM-CARES, Modi urged everyone to donate and support during the time of crisis.
As soon as Modi shared the details, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar tweeted that he will be donating a huge amount of Rs 25 crore to PM-CARES. Now, Bollywood’s heartthrob Kartik Aaryan has announced that he would donate Rs 1 crore to PM-CARES Fund.
In a note shared by Kartik on social media, he wrote, “It is the absolute need of the hour to rise together as a Nation. Whatever I am, whatever money I’ve earned, is only because of the people of India; and for us I am contributing Rs. 1 crore to the PM-CARES Fund. I URGE all my fellow Indians also to help as much as possible.”

More and more Bollywood celebrities are coming forward to support the PM in this fight against Coronavirus pandemic. Kartik’s co-star in film ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’ also donates Rs 30 crore. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma also pledged to support the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
In an Instagram post shared by them, Virat and Anushka wrote that they will contribute to PM-CARES Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra), However, they didn’t mention an amount.
Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Guru Randhawa and T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar have donated to the relief fund.
