Bollywood’s stunning diva Kareena Kapoor Khan refuses six film scripts. Apparently, Bebo wants to do just few but fantastic films.
“If the scripts were good, I would have definitely said ‘yes’. A few scripts work for some actresses, a few scripts don’t work. But, yes, my job is to choose the best script.” Kareena said.
The actor had refused many super hit films earlier including Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Kal Ho Na Ho, Fashion, Black and even Ram Leela. Kapoor diva says she has no regrets of refusing movies even if they have become a huge hit.
While reports are abuzz that Kareena has rejected six films lately because she is pregnant. Bebo rubbishes the rumor saying, “Would I have signed ”Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, which will be 2015’s Eid release opposite Salman a few days ago if I was expecting? I am a responsible actress. I don’t understand why people immediately jump to such conclusions when a married actress refuses a film. Accepting or refusing a film is an actor’s prerogative. No one should intrude on his/her privacy.”
Bebo also says Bollywood industry is lacking good scriptwriters.
“People should write good scripts. I definitely feel there is a lack of scriptwriters. A lot of people don’t get a chance. Probably, there are good writers who don’t get a chance; so I am listening to everybody – from small to big. I am meeting everybody – whoever has a good script.” said Kareena.
Kareena is very excited about her next big release Singham Returns with Ajay Devgn, who have given hits like Omkara, Golmaal 2 and Golmaal 3 earlier. Bebo says , “In Singham Returns, for the first time I play a Maharashtrian girl. Besides, I love working with Ajay, Salman, Aamir and Shah Rukh. I would leave any film to work with them. They have given me my biggest hits.”
Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Returns is set to hit the theaters on 15th August 2014.
