Jhanvi Kapoor is already a star on Instagram with her numerous hot pics and same can be said about her red-carpet appearances too. While until a few days back, the rumours were doing rounds that Sridevi has hired stylists to groom daughter Jhanvi Kapoor which lead to the speculations that Jhanvi is doing her Bollywood debut soon. Daddy Boney Kapoor has now come out in the open about his daughter’s debut adding the fact that it will be Karan Johar who will launch Jhanvi.
“Yes, Karan has been talking to us about a film for Jhanvi and we’ve given consent. But we don’t know which project it would be. Since Karan has recently acquired the remake rights of Sairat (Marathi movie) it is being presumed that our daughter would be launched in this project.”
Karan Johar, who has launched Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Alia Bhatt successfully into Bollywood is now keen on grooming and launching Jhanvi Kapoor. However, Daddy Boney Kapoor reveals that he is scared if Jhanvi will be compared to her mother Sridevi. “I see in my daughter the same focus and concentration on her chosen career as her mother. It’s never easy for star kids to make a place for themselves as they are invariably compared with their legendary parents. I hope Jhanvi won’t be compared to her mother, though.”
With cousin Harshvardhan Kapoor recently launched in Bollywood and Jhanvi’s another cousin Shanaya Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter) also gearing up for her Bollywood debut, it will be really interesting to see the star kids compete.
