Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Kapoor and Sons‘ is finally in theaters now. Released on around 1500 screens across the country, the movie is off to a decent start at the Box Office. As per the early reports coming, the movie opened to decent occupancy in morning shows specifically in metros and big cities.
Kapoor and Sons 1st Day Box Office Update: Occupancy Report
The movie opened to an occupancy of around 25% in the morning shows. The occupancy was best in the metros and high-end cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, and Gurgaon. As expected, the occupancy remained low in mass centers and small cities as the movie is targeted to the multiplex audience. The movie has been released on 1500 screens, out of which around 1000 screens has been allocated in metros and multiplexes.
Kapoor and Sons 1st Day Box Office Update: Reviews, WOM and Expectations
The reviews so far have been exceptional. Kapoor and Sons is one of the highest rated movies of the year along with Airlift and Neerja. The WOM from the moviegoers is also positive and it seems that the movie is all set make a big impression at the Box Office. The only issue with Kapoor and Sons is that the movie has limited appeal and we can’t expect it to have big lifetime numbers. As predicted by us, Kapoor and Sons 1st day collection would be around 7 crores.
The movie will show good growth from Sunday and tomorrow’s numbers will be affected by India-Pakistan T20 match.
