Kabir Singh 1st Day Box Office Collection: Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh is off to an incredible opening at the domestic box office. Released on 3123 screens in India, the movie recorded 50% occupancy in the morning shows. It saw a good jump in occupancy as the day progressed.

The overall occupancy on the first day was around 60%. The film has performed exceptionally well not only in high-end metro cities but in mass centres as well. The pre-release buzz for the film was high and it gets converted to big box office numbers.

As per Taran Adarsh, Kabir Singh 1st day box office collection is 20.21 crores. It is now the top opening day grosser for Shahid Kapoor beating Shandaar (13.1 crores) and Padmaavat (19 crores).

Occupancy wise, it is the second highest opening of 2019 after Bharat. Collection wise, it is the fourth highest opening day grosser of 2019 after Bharat, Kesari and Kalank.

Kabir Singh is an official remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. The film has received superb reviews from the critics. Shahid Kapoor has delivered the best performance of his career and is getting appreciated for it. The audience has loved it.

Kabir Singh has exceeded expectations on day 1. With solid reviews and positive WOM, the film is expected to play a big inning at the box office. It has a good chance to become Shahid Kapoor’s first solo 100 crores grosser.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde, the film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who also directed the original one. The film has received ‘A’ certificate from CBFC.
