Kabir Khan talks about his next film with Salman Khan, shooting starts in July

After giving us two blockbuster movies together, Kabir Khan talks about his next film with Salman Khan.

Kabir Khan is currently gearing up for his third project with Salman Khan. When Kabir Khan talks about his next film with Salman Khan, he claims that in this project, he will be exploring ‘larger than life political backdrop’. They will start shooting in July 2016 and it will be slated to release on Eid 2017.

Further he revealed that “It’s a compelling human story which like all my other films has a larger than-life political backdrop. If I had felt the pressure, then after Ek Tha Tiger I would have made another action-packed Tiger that would have excited the distributors and not a warm, human story about a little girl. This time too, I went to Salman and after the narration he sad simply, ‘Great story, let’s make it’. It’s an interesting time for Salman and me. We enjoy a good working relationship and this is our chance to push the envelope. This film will be produced by him and I will line-produce it.”

There were reports claiming that Deepika Padukone may be cast opposite Salman Khan in this movie, but Kabir Khan rubbished these reports by saying “I have never spoken to Deepika about the film. The earlier news that Deepika is going to be a part of the film was a rumour, still it spread like a fire. So, naturally, the news that she isn’t doing the film does not surprise me, because I didn’t even discuss it with her.”
