Raees vs Kaabil clash was touted to be one of the biggest clashes of all time and everyone was expecting a big fight at the Box Office. However, it turned out to be a one-sided case as Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees has taken a big lead on the first day.
As per the reports coming, Raees has literally thrashed Kaabil in almost all parts of the country. Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees opened to an occupancy of around 60% in the morning shows while Kaabil managed to register an opening of around 25%.
Talking about the area-wise performance, Raees is ahead of Kaabil in all parts of the country except South India. In Mumbai, Kolkata and Gujarat, Raees is way ahead of Kaabil. The occupancy difference in these circuits was almost double for morning and noon shows. In Delhi and Central India, Raees is ahead by a good margin. While Raees reported an occupancy of around 50% in these circuits, Kaabil was around 30%. Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil is only ahead in South India as Hrithik enjoys a huge fan following in this region.

Things are not looking good for Kaabil as Raees has taken a huge lead till the noon shows. Both movies will witness good growth in the evening and night shows as there is a national holiday tomorrow.
As per early estimates, Raees is heading towards a 20+ crores opening day while Kaabil is struggling to reach even the double digit figure. We think that Kaabil will grow more as the reviews are good. Our estimates for the first day:
