Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer Kaabil has taken an excellent start on Sunday at domestic Box Office. The movie opened to 60% occupancy in the morning shows which is better than last three days. In fact, the occupancy is in the same range as Thursday which was a National holiday because of Republic day. Kaabil has received huge appreciation which is working in the favour of the film.
Kaabil is having an extraordinary run today. The movie is running at the same level as Thursday. Despite less number of shows, it is equalling or beating Raees in several big cities. The movie is driving on excellent WOM and Hrithik Roshan’s fan following. In high-end multiplexes in major metros, the movie is running to packed houses.The movie will witness huge growth in the evening shows as it is a Sunday.

It will be interesting to see how the movie performs in the night shows as it is a normal working day tomorrow. If Kaabil manages to sustain in night shows then it will surely touch 17 crores mark. The movie may touch second day collection (18.87 crores).
Early trends suggest that Kaabil 5th day collection will be around 17 crores. The numbers may go higher/lower depending on the performance of the movie in the evening and night shows.
Kaabil has collected around 50 crores in the first three days which is a good number considering its clash with a biggie like Raees. With 17 crores coming today, Kaabil total collection will be 66+ crores by the end of the extended first weekend. Kaabil needs to earn at least 80 crores to be a safe bet for the distributors. The needs to have a solid Sunday then strong hold on weekdays to be a profitable venture for distributors. The first movie should target at least 100 crores.
