Kaabil 2nd day Box Office collection update: After an average opening day with the collection of 10.43 crores, Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer Kaabil made a strong comeback on Thursday. The movie witnessed superb growth and registered 75% occupancy on its second day. Running on 2600 screens, Kaabil took full advantage of the national holiday and almost double its collections. Kaabil Day 2 Box Office Collection Update
Morning & Noon Box Office Report:
The movie reported around 60% occupancy in the morning shows. It witnessed a growth of 30% compared to the opening day. It’s a national Holiday and Kaabil seems to have taken a full advantage of it.
Talking about region-wise occupancy, Kaabil reported growth in almost all regions. Delhi-NCR, Central India, South were the best-performing centres with around 65% occupancy. In Mumbai, Kolkata and Gujarat, Kaabil has been severely affected by Raees which is having a dream run in these regions.
Evening & Night Shows Box Office Report:
The movie reported 70% to 75% occupancy in the evening shows despite the cricket match between India and England. The positive WOM has also started spreading which has also helped the movie in multiplexes and metros. The film was housefull at many multiplexes especially in Delhi and NCR region. In many areas, the movie has shows 4 to 5 times growth as compared to yesterday collections. Yesterday the film was severely hit by Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom. But now with positive WOM, the movie has started growing at the Box Office.
Kaabil 2nd Day Box Office Collection:
Kaabil had a huge second day at the domestic Box Office. The movie performed to its full potential earning 18.67 crores on its second day. Talking about the clash with Raees, the WOM will come into play from today and a better movie will make it big in coming days.
With 10.43 crores Kaabil is the fifth highest opening day grosser for Hrithik Roshan after Krrish 3, Kites, Bang Bang and Agneepath.
At the end of two days, Kaabil now stands at the total collection of 29.1 crores. It has been made on a budget of 50 crores and All India distribution rights were sold for 42 crores. Kaabil needs to earn 80 crores to be a safe bet. Friday Box Office performance will decide where the movie will head in coming days.
