Junooniyat Music Review and Soundtrack- The songs are good to hear

Written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, Junooniyat is a passionate love story of an army captain and a Punjabi girl. The film stars Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam, Gulshan Devaiah and Hrishita Bhatt in pivotal roles. The movie’s soundtrack has a total of six tracks and here’s our Junooniyat Music Reveiw-

1. Nachange Saari Raat

As you may have guessed from the title of the song, Nachange Saari Raat is a rehashed version of the rather famous song by Stereo Nation. This new tradition of remaking hit songs from the past and including them in movies has gained a lot of momentum nowadays. Thankfully, Meet Bros Anjjan have done a good job with this song who have given the music and sung the song with Neeraj Shridhar and Tulsi Kumar and lyrics penned by Kumaar.

2. Mujhko Barsaat Bana Lo

The second song from Junooniyat is titled Mujhko Barsaat Bana Lo. The song is sung by Armaan Malik, music directed by Jeet Gannguli and lyrics are written by Rashmi Virag. A lovely song perfect for professing your love to your loved one!

3. Ishqe Di Lat

The song Ishqe Di Lat is sung by Ankit Tiwari and Tulsi Kumar with music directed by Ankit Tiwari himself and the lyrics written by Manoj Muntashir. Ankit and Tulsi have done a superb job in bringing justice to the lyrics of the song. You’ll want to hear the song more and more once you hear it.

4. Junooniyat

Junooniyat title track is sung by Meet Bros Anjjan and Falak Shabir. The music is composed by Meet Bros Anjjan themselves and the passionate lyrics are written by Kumaar. A Sufi track with a lot of sadness inside it.

5. Pagalon Sa Naach
In the voices of Meet Bros and Khushboo Grewal, with given by music Meet Bros Anjjan and lyrics written by Kumaar, Pagalon Sa Naach is basically just a lot of noise. Not an entrirely bad song, but there’s nothing good that will make you want to listen this song again.

6. Tu Junooniyat
Tne climax song- Tu Junooniyat takes you back into the mood of love with Shrey Singhal and Akriti Kakar‘s voice, music by Jeet Ganguli and lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir. Good intensity and pace!

Here’s the complete soundtrack of Junooniyat-

Junooniyat Music Review and Soundtrack- Our Final Verdict: After the superhit album of Sanam Re, we were expecting something in lines with that. But Junooniyat soundtrack is not so successfull in doing so. The songs are good to hear and that’s all there is to the story. Our pick of the lot would be Ishqe Di Latt and Mujhko Barsaat Bana Lo.

Our Rating: 2.5 Stars
