Jazbaa Music Review - A soulful set of songs!
Aisharya Rai Bachchan in the video of Bandeyaa

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is making her comeback with Jazbaa, and the music plays an important role in deciding the film’s future. Director Sanjay Gupta has assembled a number of artists for creating the album and as opposed to his past films, Jazbaa has an offbeat soundtrack. Here’s our Jazbaa Music Review-

1. Jazbaa Music Review – Bandeyaa

Apart from the fact that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looks sizzling in the opening number of the album of Jazbaa, the composition by Amjad-Nadeem is really soulful. The touching lyrics are by Sanjay Gupta and Amjad-Nadeem. Jubin Nautiyal’s voice totally reflects the situation the lead character is facing.

2. Jazbaa Music Review – Kahaaniya

Nilofer Wani makes her debut in Bollywood with Kahaaniya and we are impressed with her unique, interesting voice. Though the song has a jingle like feeling to it with Aish doing her workout session in the video. The song is written and composed by Arko.

3. Jazbaa Music Review – Aaj Raat Ka Scene

Now this is the most out of place song in the a thriller movie, but then it’s Bollywood. After all it’s a Sanjay Gupta movie and a ‘dhinchaak’ number is a must. The mandatory item song is sung by Shraddha Pandit and Badshah. Everything about this song is pretty average, just another naughty party song.

4. Jazbaa Music Review – Jaane Tere Shehar

Another composition by Arko, he sets a ghazal-like ambiance with this song which beautifully depicts love, longing and loneliness. Irrfan Khan’s droopy eyes in the video says it all. Arko’s lyrics and Vipin Anneja’s voice complement each other. A beautiful number!

5. Jazbaa Music Review – Bandeyaa (Reprise)

The female version of Bandeyaa is composed slightly differently. It is paced and sung well by another new comer Asees Kaur. But the male version by Jubin impressed us more.

Here’s the full album-

Overall, we are really impressed by Sanjay Gupta’s evolved taste in music as he was always the one who believed in giving ‘dhinchaak‘ numbers film after film. The album of Jazbaa has a set of some really soulful numbers. Go for it!
