Janatha Garage 10th Day Collection: Janatha Garage earned 1.27 crores at the AP/T Box office on its 2nd Saturday, taking the 10-day total collection to Rs. 48.73 crores.
After a record-breaking opening week grosser with the collection of 46.5 crores, Junior NTR and Mohanlal starrer Janatha Garage saw a drop in collections on second Friday. The movie on its second Friday was affected by the new releases, Inkokkadu and ‘Jyo Achyutananda’. But the Koratala Siva directed action drama came back on the track and showed a very good jump in its collection on the second Saturday. As per the trade estimates, Janatha Garage earned 1.27 crores on its second Saturday. the movie is all set to take its distributor share to 50 crores mark.

With the collection of 1.27 crore on its second Saturday, Janatha Garage now stands at the total collection of 48.73 crores in AP and Telangana. The total worldwide Telugu share of the movie in seven days is around 71 crores. The film has become the highest ever worldwide grosser and share, domestic grosser and share for Jr. NTR. It is all set to beat the total worldwide Telugu share of the movies like Sarainodu (73 crores), Srimanthudu (85 crores) and Magadheera (83 crores).
The total worldwide gross collection of the movie after 10 days is around 110 crores. Janatha Garage is the second fastest 100 crore Tollywood grosser worldwide.
Janatha Garage was one of the most anticipated Telugu movies of 2016. It has created tremendous buzz before release thanks to the superb trailer and big names associated with it. The movie was released on over 2000 screens worldwide, that includes 1200 screens of Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, 480 screens of Kerala & Karnataka, 150 screens in rest of India, 200 screens of USA and 197 screens of other international markets.
Janatha Garage is currently the sixth-highest Telugu grosser worldwide. It has beaten the lifetime collection of big Tollywood movies like Dokudu(101 crores) and Race Gurram (102 crores). It would be interesting to see if it can beat the worldwide lifetime collection of Srimanthudu (200 crores), Gabbar Singh (150 crores) and Magadheera (150 crores).
