Sony TV has been trying hard to make up for the people who have left The Kapil Sharma Show and now it’s confirmed that Raju Shrivastav will be replacing Sunil Grover on the show.
Sony TV sent out a tweet a few days ago, teasing us that someone new will be joining The Kapil Sharma Show very soon. There were many speculations about comedians like Raju Shrivastav, Ehsaan Qureshi, and even Sunil Pal. But, it is confirmed that Raju Shrivastav will be replacing Sunil Grover on the show.

Raju himself confirmed the news and said “Yes, I have started shooting for this show. The channel and the team are happy with the episodes I have shot for them and have called me for more episodes. I don’t know how the channel is going to represent my character or my acts to the audience. But this is true that I’m shooting for the show and will feature in the show as a ‘new entry’.”
The last episode featured Raju, Ehsaan, and Sunil Pal as the guests but the response to the episode was not too good. The reports suggest that Raju will be a permanent replacement to Sunil Grover on the show. On the other hand, Sunil Grover has neither confirmed nor commented on his status. He simply said “At present, I am focusing on live shows and nothing else. I am also not talking to any other channel.”

The comedian had initially tried to be the peace maker between Sunil and Kapil who have had a fall-out, but the meeting did not materialise. About him being a part of the show for good, Raju is quoted saying, “Talks are on, but things are yet to be finalised I don’t want to rush into it, but it’s a great opportunity. Sharing the stage with Kapil is always fun.”
