The American comedy-drama series, Insecure, aired its season 5 finale on Sunday, Dec 26, 2021. On January 13, 2021, HBO renewed the show for a fifth season. Along with the renewal, HBO announced that season 5 of Insecure would serve as its final season. But with the show still quite popular among fans, and the recent season received much love from critics, can we hope for Insecure season 6?

Unfortunately, there won’t be more episodes of Insecure. The series has concluded with the fifth season. According to co-creator, Issa Rae, Insecure was always planned to be a five-season series for the story to get a natural conclusion.
Speaking to Deadline, Rae stated: “We always planned to tell this story through five seasons, be we couldn’t have made it this far without the tremendous support of our audience.”
