Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming movie Mohenjo Daro which is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilization will be Ashutosh Gowariker’s shortest film till date.

According to a report by leading daily, Deccan Chronicle,  Mohenjo Daro’s run time will be around 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) only. Ashutosh is known for making lengthy movies. His movies generally have a run time of more than 3 hours.

Run time of Ashutosh Gowariker’s previous movies:
Lagaan: 234 minutes
Swades: 210 minutes
Jodha Akbar: 214 minutes
What’s Your Rashee: 213 minutes
Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey: 168 minutes

Mohenjo Daro is one of the most awaited movies of the year. Hrithik Roshan will be back on the big screen after Bang Bang which was released in Oct 2014. The shooting of the movie was wrapped up last month and it is currently in the post-production phase.

Also starring Pooja Hegde and Kabir Bedi. Mohenjo Daro is slated for release on 12 Aug 2016. The movie will lock horns with Akshay Kumar’s Rustom.
