Budget And Screen Count Details – With screen count of 3700 screens and budget of 100 crores, Housefull 3 is the biggest release of 2016.
Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 3 is now the biggest Bollywood release of 2016 in terms of budget and screen count. Housefull is released on 3700 screens across the country, thus making it the widest Bollywood release of the year. The movie has beaten the screen count of SRK;s Fan which was released on 3550 screens. Not only in India, Housefull 3 also got a huge number of screens in overseas as well. The movie has been released on 650 screens in overseas thus making it the second widest release after SRK’s Fan (1100 screens). Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted:

Housefull 3 is also Akshay Kumar’s widest release ever beating ‘Singh Is Bliing’ which was released on 3500 screens.

Talking about the budget of the movie, it is expected that Housefull 3 is the most expensive movie of 2016. Though nothing has been revealed about the budget of the movie, there are reports that the production cost of the movie is around 80 crores. With 15 to 20 crores spent on promotion, Housefull 3 makes it to the list of most expensive movies of 2016 along with SRK’s Fan.
The movie is expected to beat the opening day collection of SRK’s Fan (19.2 crores), thus becoming the top opening day grosser of 2016.
