After a super-successful season 1, Amazon Prime Video’s Four More Shots Please released the very exciting Season 2 on 17 April. The female-centric show takes you on a whirlwind through the lives of four best friends who deal with the patriarchal society and breaks the shackles of normalcy to living life on their terms. The series starring Kirti Kulhari, Lisa Ray, Gurbani Kaur, Manvi Gagroo, Sayani Gupta and Milind Soman.

The dark-comedy series grabs your attention right from the very scene. An anxious Vir Dar cuts open his comic Guru’s throat open only to make sure his presence on stage is as energetic. His comic career takes a dark turn when he figures out only this murder could help him with his big break in the stand-up comedy world. Hansmukh stars talent powerhouse actors like Ranvir Shorey and Amrita Bagchi in pivotal roles.

Baarish Season 2

Veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra Kumar and ‘Rang De Basanti’ star Sharman Joshi mark their digital debut with ZEE5’s ‘Baarish’. After a terrific response for Season 1, ZEE5 has now released the second season of the romantic family drama. ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress Asha Negi plays Sharman’s love interest in a Mumbai-based monsoon love story. The colourful relationship between a rich adopted businessman and a Marathi middle-class girl high on principles takes a U-Turn one rainy evening in Mumbai.

Streaming on Prime Video, Panchayat is one of the better watches for you during the lockdown. The ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ actor Jitendra Kumar takes the lead role in sartorial comedy-drama. Panchayat revolves around the store of an allegedly haunted Banyan tree on the outskirts of the village. An engineering graduate stuck in the role of Panchayat Secretary sets on a mission to disclose the secret and ultimately benefit from it.

Bollywood actress Lara Dutta marks her debut on the small screen with Hundred. It is a comedy story of a female cop who makes allies with local city workers to achieve personal as well as professional goals. The contrast between Lara and Rinku Rajgurur’s character draws out the pretty nuances of a female character on-screen. The fun, the light-hearted story is a good watch for those looking to pass some time. Not the best from Disney+Hotstar kitty, it is survivable since you have a lot of time to kill.
