HBO Max is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that it gets a big boost in the initial few months. After launching on May 27, HBO Max has already premiered some variety shows that is tinkered to suit the needs of a binge-watching community. Unlike other streaming sites, HBO Max begins with fun and interesting stuff to watch yet has an extra hold on true stories and documentaries that will raise your spirits to advocate change.
June will be HBO Max’s first month, and the streaming service is wasting no time to attract the user base. June 2020 will see many popular movies and shows coming to HBO Max. The platform will also see new Max Originals.

Ad Astra (June 6)
Ad Astra is a 2019 American science fiction drama film produced, co-written, and directed by James Gray. Starring Brad Pitt in the lead role, the film follows an astronaut who goes into space in search of his lost father, whose experiment threatens the solar system. The film also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, and Donald Sutherland. It will be added to HBO Max’s library on 6th June 2020.
Ford vs Ferrari (June 20)
One of the biggest addition to the already whooping HBO Max library will be James Mangold’s 2019 sports drama film Ford v Ferrari. Starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale, the film was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Ford vs Ferrari is a story of an automotive designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and his British driver Ken Miles (Bale) as they set out to build the Ford GT40, a car that could compete with the Ferrari racing team.

Summer Camp Island Season (June 18)
Summer Camp Island is an American animated television series created for Cartoon Network by Julia Pott. The animated fantasy series chronicles the journey two best friends–an elephant named Oscar Peltzer and Hedgehog the hedgehog–who attend a magical summer camp. Season 1 of the TV series had a marathon run on Cartoon Network with 40 episodes. At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Julia Pott announced that the series had been renewed for a second season which will premiere exclusively on HBO Max.
Search Party (June 25)
Initially, a TBS series, The Search Party moves on to HBO Max to be renewed for its third season. The season will premiere on the 25th of June 2020 with the previous two seasons accompanying it. The story is a satirical and comic telling of four self-absorbed friends who get entangled in a mush of mysterious events as they team up to find their missing college mate. The show has already been renewed for season 4. It stars John Reynolds, John Early, Meredith Hagner, and Brandon Micheal Hall.
Doom Patrol (June 25)
This DC series will now air on HBO Max with the second season premiering on 25 Jun 2020. The story follows a group of people with extraordinary powers and dark and painful pasts coming together under a scientist only to be set against a major villain who threatens to wreak havoc. As these men and women battle with their inner demons, secrets and sorrows we find them emerging as a group to tackle the problem that they were born to fight.
