Happy New Year Lifetime Collection : Happy New Year is fading at Box Office each passing day. The movie should end up with lifetime collection of around 200 crores.
It looks like the initial success of Happy New Year was by chance. The movie got the biggest opening of all time with collections of 44.97 crores. The movie collected 109 crores with in first three days of its release and was set for the biggest blockbuster of all time. Who know what happen to the movie after its first weekend at Box Office. The collections goes on sliding each passing day and crossing 200 crores at domestic Box Office looks at daunting task now.
To cross 200 crores lifetime collection, the movie has to maintain a steady pace at Box Office for almost 10 days. Happy New Year failed miserably after first three days of its release. No one would have though that after 109 crores first weekend and high hype and buzz it would become difficult for the movie to cross 200 crores at Box Office.
Trade analysts were almost sure that the movie would cross Salman Khan’s Kick lifetime collection and become the highest grossing movie of 2014.

Happy New Year looks like a failure at Indian Box Office to say the least. How can we say that the movie is a blockbuster considering that it has collected only 80 crores in last 10 days at domestic Box Office. Happy New Year was released on a mammoth screen count of 5000 screens across the country. There were no big releases for the last two weeks at Box Office. Happy New year lifetime collection till now is 190 crores and the movie requires another 10 crores to enter 200 crores club.
It would be interesting to see how the movie performs in its third week as it has to compete with The Shaukeens. There will a huge decline in the screen count. 200 crores lifetime now looks a daunting task.
