Happy New Year cross 200 crores : HNY crossed 200 crores at domestic Box Office on 19th day of its release.
The news which the Shahrukh Khan fans were waiting for last two-week. Happy New Year has finally entered the 200 crore club on 19th day of its release. HNY has now join the league of the biggest blockbuster of Bollywood. The movie will collect around 0.6 crores on its 19th day to enter the elite 200 crore club.
Happy New Year becomes the second 200 crore grosser of 2014. Salman Khan’s Kick being the first one with lifetime collection of 233 crores.
SRK fans were waiting for this figure since the release of HNY this Diwali. The movie got a terrific start at Box Office raking in 109 crores in first three days and become the highest opening weekend grosser of all time.
Although the collections went on sliding down each passing day but the movie remains stable for the last three weeks at Box Office and finally managed to cross 200 crores.
This is SRK’s second consecutive entry to 200 crore club after Chennai Express. He is now the only actor with two consecutive 200 crore grosser at domestic Box Office.
Happy New Year took 19 days to cross the 200 crore mark. This is second slowest entry to 200 crore club. Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots took 45 days to cross 200 crores.
Happy New Year is the sixth Bollywood movie to enter 200 crore club of Bollywood.
