Jimmy Sheirgill, Diana Penty, Ali Zafar and Abhay Deol starrer ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ had a good opening weekend at the domestic Box Office. After a slow start with the collection of 2.32 crores, the movie witnessed good growth over the first weekend. On its third day, the movie earned 4.58 crores on its 3rd days take its first weekend collection to 10.71 crores.

‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ performed best in Delhi and Punjab because of the local flavour. The movie has been severely affected by Rustom which is still ruling the domestic Box Office. The weekend collection of ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ is better than films like Madaari and 1920 London which had similar first day business as Happy Bhaag Jayegi. Madaari went from 2.25 crores first day to 9.75 crore nett while 1920 London went from 2.50 crores first day to 7.73 crore weekend.
Though the first weekend collections are low, Happy Bhag Jayegi can still make good money at Box Office. The movie has received good reviews from critics. All it needs is to sustain well on coming days.
