Abhishek Bachchan’s Dasvi and Sony LIV’s Gullak 3 are the top OTT releases of this weekend. Let’s have a look.
1) Dasvi
Platform: Netflix and Jio Cinema
Release date: April 7, 2022
Dasvi will be Abhishek Bachchan’s fourth direct to digital release after Ludo, The Big Bull, and Bob Biswas. Directed by debutant Tushar Jalota, the social comedy also stars Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam.
The story revolves around an uneducated and rustic politician, Ganga Ram Chaudhary (Abhishek Bachchan) who is arrested for a teacher recruitment scam. During his time in prison, he aims to clear his Class 10th. The trailer has received impressive reviews and one can expect a decent socio-entertainer.
2) Gullak 3
Platform: Sony LIV
Release date: April 7, 2022
The third season of Sony Liv’s heartwarming show Gullak will release on April 7. Once again, the Mishra family returns with their collection of daily life tales every middle-class family can relate to. The critics and viewers are loving the third season and the show is only getting better and more warning with every new season.
Directed by Palash Vaswani, it stars Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Harsh Mayar, and Sunita Rajwar.
3) Ethankkum Thunindhavan

Tamil cinema superstar Suriya is back with yet another entertainer. Directed by Pandiraj, this action entertainer also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sathyaraj, Soori, and Saranya Ponvannan in important roles. Debuted in theatres on March 10, 2022, the movie will be available to stream on Netflix and Sun NXT.
4) Return to Space
Platform: Netflix
Release date: April 7, 2022
Directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, this documentary tells “The Inspirational rise of SpaceX as well as Elon Musk’s two-decade effort to resurrect America’s space travel ambitions.”
5) Abhay Season 3

Release date: April 8, 2022
The third season of Zee5’s popular crime drama will drop on Friday, April 8. Directed by Ken Ghosh, the crime thriller co-stars Asha Negi, Vidya Malvade, Tanuj Virwani, Rahul Dev, and Vijay Raaz. Kemmu plays the role of SP Abhay Pratap Singh, while Negi is Sonam Khanna, a news reporter, and Singh’s wife.
This season Abhay faces a new unknown threat, a dark force capable of exploiting anyone in the name of a twisted belief.
6) Elite Season 5

8) Naradhan

This Malayalam thriller drama is probably the best movie of 2022. The film follows the journey of a passionate TV journalist and throws light on social issues and the business of news. Directed by Aashiq Abu, it also stars Anna Ben, Sharafudheen, and Vijayaraghavan in main roles.
9) Murder in Agonda

Release date: April 8, 2022
Directed by Vikram Rai, Murder in Agonda is a crime thriller starring Shriya Pilgaonkar, Aasif Khan, Kubbra Sait, and Lillete Dubey in pivotal roles. Mirzapur fame Pilgaonkar plays a detective in the series.
10) All the Old Knives

All the Old Knives is an American thriller directed by Janus Metz Pedersen. It is based on the novel of the same name by Olen Steinhauer.
