Golmaal 5: Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn to collaborate for the fifth film of super hit comic franchise Golmaal. Film to go on floors after Sooryavanshi.
Big news for Golmaal franchise fans. After the super success of Golmaal Again, Rohit Shetty is all set for Golmaal 5. The director is collaborating with Ajay Devgn for the fifth instalment of the famous comic franchise. Golmaal is one of the most successful comedy franchises of Bollywood along with Housefull and Dhamaal.
Last year, Ajay Devgn tweeted, “A film franchise which is not only the longest running one in hindi cinema but also happens to be one of my favourites! Prepare yourself for yet another laugh riot with #GolmaalFive. #RohitShetty @Shibasishsarkar @RelianceEnt @RSPicturez.”

Rohit is currently busy in the post-production work of his cop universe film Sooryavanshi, which stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. It is slated to release on March 24, 2020.
As per the reports coming, Rohit wants a break from action movies for a while. That’s the reason, he will start with Golmaal 5 before moving on to his other projects which include Singham 3 and other action films. The script of Golmaal 5 is already locked and Rohit will start shooting for it this year only.
Rohit and Ajay have collaborated on 10 films in the past and are excited to get together for the fifth film of Golmaal franchise. Golmaal is the most successful comic film franchise of Bollywood.
The first film Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, starring Ajay, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, Tusshar Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, released on July 14, 2006. Rohit expanded Golmaal Universe with Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3 and Golmaal Again. The last film of the franchise Golmaal Again was a blockbuster with the collection of Rs 206 crore in India.
