Fukrey Returns 7th Day Box Office Collection: Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat and Richa Chadda starrer Fukrey Returns has completed its first week on a terrific note. Released on 8 Dec 2017, the movie has exceeded trade expectations to emerge as one of the surprise hits of the year. As per early estimates, Fukrey Returns earned around 4 crores on Thursday to cross 50 crores mark. Here’s a detailed look at the first week box office report of the film.

The movie recorded a superb opening, earning 8.1 crores on the first day. The first day numbers were way above expectations. If this was not enough, it witnessed huge growth over the weekend to earn 11.3 crores and 12.8 crores on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The movie earned 32.2 crores in the first weekend.
After an incredible opening weekend, the movie remained strong on weekdays as well. On Monday, the collection on Monday saw a drop of 37% from Friday which is considered a very good hold. It earned 5.1 crores on Monday. On Tuesday, the movie earned earned 5 crores, without any drop from Monday. The movie witnessed a little drop and earned 4.3 crores on Wednesday. On the last day of the week, Fukrey Returns earned 4 crores and goes past 50 crores mark.

The film is running like a riot in Delhi/NCR and UP
As expected, Delhi/NCR and UP were the top earning circuits. As per our estimate, the movie earned around 20 crores in Delhi and UP region. Single screens are low but the multiplexes across the country are preforming exceptionally well. Single screens are average due to low prolific star cast.
The hold which we have seen on weekdays is something exceptional. I mean a drop of less than 50% from the first day to the last day is some we generally don’t see these days.
Will Rule The Box Office For One More Week
Bollywood was going through a dull phase since the release of Golmaal Again (Diwali 2017). All movies released in last 6 to 8 weeks have not performed well. With Fukrey Returns performing well, exhibitors and industry have taken a sigh of relief. With no big releases today, we can expect Fukrey Returns to make it big at the box office.
Made on a budget of 30 crores, Fukrey Returns is already a hit at the box office. It needs to cross 70 crores mark to become super hit at the box office.
The movie can make huge money till the release of Tiger Zinda Hai on 22 Dec 2017. If it continues to perform like this then there is an outside chance of an entry to the 100 crore club. Let’s wait and watch.
