As expected, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Amy Jackson and Arbaaz Khan starrer Freaky Ali witnessed good growth on its second day. After an average opening day, the movie saw promising growth on Saturday and earned around 3.5 crores as per trade estimates.
This is a good sign of Nawazuddin Siddiqui whose last two movies as a solo lead, Manjhi and Raman Raghav 2.0 bombed at the domestic Box Office. With Freaky Ali, Nawaz finally seems to be getting into the groove of a solo actor after years of playing second fiddle in movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Talaash and others.

Made of a budget of 19 crores including the promotion costs, the movie has been sold to Vashu Bhagnani for 11 crores. Freaky Ali requires lifetime business of 25 crores to emerge as a profitable venture for distributors. Producer Sohail Khan is already in profits as around 10 crores have been recovered from branding and satellite rights.
