Bollywood is going through a tough phase. The demonetisation of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes is severely impacting the Box Office collection of the movies. Last week release, Rock On 2 emerged as one of the biggest disasters of 2016. Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay is struggling to enter the 100 crore club. The cash crunch in the country is likely to impact this week’s releases, Force 2 and Tum Bin 2 as well.
The makers of the two films have confirmed that both films will be releasing as previously scheduled. The decision is taken considering the fact that no free dates are available in 2016. There is Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ on November 25, followed by ‘Kahaani 2’ on December 2 and ‘Befikre’ on December 9. From 23rd December, Aamir Khan’s Dangal will take it over. Force 2 Box Office Prediction
Force 2 creates some sort of buzz with the release of its action-packed trailer. But as the movie is nearing its release, the buzz seems to be dying. Moreover, the movie is targeted at the audience in smaller circuits and watching a movie in theatres is something we can’t expect from the audience when the country is going through a cash crunch. Force 2 is expected to open on an average note. We expect the movie to collect 4 to 5 crores on opening day.
Tum Bin Box Office Prediction
Tum Bin will even open lower than Force 2. The movie hasn’t been able to create any buzz whatsoever. Tum Bin is expected to open very low. We expect the movie to collect 1.5 crores on opening day. The makers have played it safe and as per the reports we have, the makers have already recovered the budget through satellite, music and overseas rights.
