Last Friday releases, Force 2 and Tum Bin 2 have completed one week at the domestic Box Office. While John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Force 2 managed to post decent numbers, Neha Sharma Sharma starrer Tum Bin failed to create any impact at the Box Office. Force 2 First Week Collection Report
John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha starrer managed to post good numbers in the first week despite cash problems because of demonetization. The movie earned 20.05 crores in the first weekend. It was a good number considering that the movie is targeted to the mass centres where the impact of demonetization was huge.
On Monday, the movie witnessed usual drops and earned around 3 crores. It kept on dropping and earned around 1.8 crores on Thursday. At the end of the first week, Force 2 stands at the total collection of around 29 crores.
Force 2 could have done better business if the cash crunch wasn’t there. Demonetization has made a difference of around 7 crores in the first-week collection of the movie.
Tum Bin 2 First Week Collection Report
The Box Office fate of Tum Bin 2 was written on the first day itself. It got off to a poor opening and earned 0.6 crores on Friday. The movie managed to earn 2.4 crores in the first weekend but witnessed huge drop on weekdays. At the end of the first week, Tum Bin stands at the total collection 3.5 crores.
The makers of Tum Bin 2 have played it safe as the movie has recovered its budget (15 crores) through satellite, music and digital rights. The movie will not be able to recover its budget at Box Office.
