Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal will hit the silver screens tomorrow. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Jab Harry met Sejal is an urban centric romantic comedy film with a desi twist. The expectations are high as Shah Rukh Khan is the best romantic hero and Imtiaz Ali is the master storyteller of romantic stories. The movie has created decent pre-release buzz and we expect it to take a good opening at the box office.
Releasing on around 3500 screens, the movie is expected to be among the top opening day grossers of Shah Rukh Khan. Currently, Happy New Year (44.97 crores) is the top opening day grosser for SRK followed by Chennai Express (33.1 crores).
It would be difficult for Jab Harry Met to cross 30 crores on opening day as the economics have changed and Bollywood is going through a lean patch. However, the movie has a good chance to beat the opening day collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s last two releases, Dilwale (21 crores) and Raees (20.42 crores).
