Fast And Furious 8 third day collection: Furious 8 continued its good run on Saturday, collected around 11 crores.

Vin Diesel, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson starrer Fast & Furious 8 (The fate of the furious) was released on 13 April 2017. As predicted by us, the movie is having a good run and is heading to a big opening weekend total. After a good opening day with the collection of 9 crores (nett), the movie witnessed good growth on Friday (second day) and remained stable on Saturday (third day).

Released on around 1700 screens, across the country, the movie has been performing exceptionally well in multiplexes. Metros cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Mysore, Chennai have been the best performing circuits so far. In NCR circuit, Furious 8 box office collection has been impacted by Punjabi film Manje Bistre. Manje Bistre took a bumper opening of 80-85% in Punjab. Released on 200 screens, it has earned around 4.5 crores in just two days. In Punjab and Delhi, it has beaten Furious 8 by a good margin.

Fast And Furious 8 Box Office Collection

Furious 8 has been performing exceptionally since its release on Wednesday (12 April 2017). On Wednesday, F. Gary Gray’s directorial movie earned 6.1 crores (nett) from paid previews which were started from 3 pm.

On Thursday (first day), the movie witnessed good growth and collected around 9 crores. Furious 8 registered the 5th highest opening of 2017. It has beaten the opening day collection of Bollywood movies like Rangoon, Phillauri and Naam Shabana.

On Friday, the movie took fair advantage of Good Friday and Ambedkar Jayanti. It earned around 11 crores on its second day. On Saturday, the movie remained stable. As per early estimates, Fast And Furious 8 third day collection will be around 11 crores. After three days, the total collection of the movie stands at around 38 crores.

Fast And Furious 8 Box Office Collection: First Weekend Expectations

Though the critics have given mixed reviews, the movie has been loved by the audience. The movie is expected to grow further today. As predicted by us, Fast And Furious 8 first weekend collection will be around 50 crores. Furious 8 will be the highest Hollywood grosser of 2017 in India by the end of the first week. The movie will be in a hit zone today.

It would be interesting to see if Furious 8 can cross the 100 crore mark in India. The last part of the series, Furious 7 was a huge hit with the collection of 112 crores.

  1. On Weekend, the film took reasonable advantage of Good Weekend and Ambedkar Jayanti. It revealed a reasonable development of around 15% compared to Friday. As per early reports, Fast And Furious 8 second day collection will be in the product variety of 11 crores. After two days, the total assortment of the film appears at around 26 crores.
