Bollywood isn’t short of love stories both in real and reel life. There are many couples who got together and then broke up but have remained cordial with their exes. However, there were some of them who went a step ahead and worked together in movies after ugly breakups too! Check them all out here:
1) Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif
This one is no secret at all. After a 5-year-old relationship, the couple broke up as Katrina found love in her ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahaani’ co-star Ranbir Kapoor. Since breakup, Salman and Katrina have shared the stage in Bigg Boss and also acted in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and are now shooting together for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘. What’s more, the ex-couple have signed few more films together! Now that’s what we call true friendship!
2) Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif
Yes, the duo has broken up too after a 6-year-old relationship. Even though there were reports both of them couldn’t stand each other while shooting for ‘Jagga Jasoos’, they have come together in professional front and now claim to be best friends!
3) Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone
Looks like Ranbir is quite a favorite with his exes! The couple had an ugly breakup after Ranbir left Deepika for Katrina. The ‘RK’ tattoo on the back of Deepika’s neck was proof enough of her love for Ranbir. There was no contact whatsoever after breakup but then they came together for ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ leaving all their differences aside and went on to star in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’ too.
4) Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma
The ex-couple fell in love on the sets of ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ and were inseparable. Reasons unknown, the two broke up but that didn’t leave them working together for ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. To this date, both sometimes post pictures with each other and have remained quite good friends.

5) Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra
PeeCee is all Hollywood-y now but she had fallen hard for Shahid Kapoor on the sets of ‘Kaminey’. However, they broke up soon thereafter but came together for Kunal Kohli’s ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ and gave us a visual treat of their cute chemistry.
6) Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor
A 4-year long relationship, they were madly in love Bollywood couple who broke up when Kareena found Saif. However, after many many years of no communication, they finally came together for ‘Udta Punjab’ even though they didn’t share any screen space together. Still, we got to see them together on the same stage in promotional events for the movie.
7) Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty
Love blossomed on the sets of ‘Dhadkan’ and they painted the town red until Akki cheated on Shilpa and left her. Then started a series of public rebuke from Shilpa’s side which Akki denied to comment on. Although they didn’t really work together in a movie, the duo shared the stage in Bigg Boss which Shilpa was hosting and were seen teasing each other very comfortably.
8) Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor
Aditya and Shraddha were in love that blossomed while they were shooting for Aashiqui 2. The movie was a super hit at the box office. After the movie both of them become overnight stars which eventually resulted in their break up. However, the couple made a comeback together in ‘Ok Jaanu’ and their sizzling and hot chemistry sets the screen on fire. Both of then are good friends now.
