What will be the plot of Evil Season 3?

The series follows Catholic seminarian David Acosta (Mike Colter), forensic psychologist Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), and tech expert Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi) as they investigate claims of sinister possession of the Catholic Church.

If we talk about the plot, it focuses on two parts. The first is in which David, Kristen, and Ben investigate supernatural phenomena and evil sides. Besides this, the series follows character-driven storylines. Every new episode focuses on a mysterious event, with the three featuring as investigators.

In the second season, Kristen killed a serial killer (Darren Pettie) who intimidated her daughters in the first season. David is struggling with doubts ahead of his ordination.

They also explore a possible plan to corrupt future generations by tampering with IVF treatments. Season 2 ends with a cliffhanger with David’s ordination and almost immediate revocation of his vows.

So, Season 3 will take the story forward after this exciting cliffhanger. Three of them will dig deeper into new cases and riddles. They will continue to confront their demons all the way. The upcoming season will focus on David and Kristen’s blooming romance, alongside the continual supernatural events and demonic encounters.

The official synopsis reads:

“[David and Kristen] not only have to navigate this fraught new reality, but contend with David’s involvement with ‘the entity’, an espionage unit within the Catholic Church. Meanwhile, Ben (Aasif Mandvi) finds his brain breaking from their unsolved cases and turns to his sister for help.”
