Ek Paheli Leela starts off well at domestic Box Office. We have predicted that the movie would collect 5 to 6 crores on its opening day. We are bang on target once again with our Box Office predictions. The movie collected 5.3 crores on its opening day. Thanks to the huge fan following of Sunny Leone, the movie has opened better than other releases of the year like NH10, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy etc.

However, Ek Paheli Leela dropped marginally on Saturday. After a good start, we were expecting big weekend from the movie but it seems that audience has some other plans. Ek Paheli Leela collected 5.2 crores on Saturday. The movie now stands at a total collection of 10.5 crores.

The expectations from the movie were low, but it looked like it has exceeded the expectations. Though the response and reviews from the critics are mixed, moviegoers are loving it. The WOM from the public has also been good on opening day. Sunny Leone is the only selling point of the movie and the actress has certainly raised the bar by her oomph factor.

Ek Paheli Leela was released on around 1700 screens across the country.  The movie starts slowly with morning show’s registered occupancy of around 10% to 15% in multiplexes on opening day. The opening is better at single screens and mass centres with around 30-35% occupancy.

With a slight drop on Saturday, it remains to be seen how the movie performs on Sunday. Ek Paheli Leela is expected to have a first-weekend collection of around 16 crores, which is decent considering the star cast of the movie.

Ek Paheli Leela is made on a budget of 25 crores (Including Printing and Advertisement cost). The movie should recover its budget within the first week itself and it would be interesting to see if it would become the first super hit of 2015 which Bollywood is desperately looking for. As per my prediction, the movie will be the first big hit of 2015 with the lifetime collection of around 50 crores.
