Drishyam 2 Trailer
As Drishyam 2 is a direct sequel to Drishyam, it starts from where the first movie concluded. In Drishyam, we saw how George Kutty tricked the police after his daughter (Ansiba) accidentally kills the son of a cop (Asha Sharath). In the trailer, we see George Kutty and his family trying to live normal lives after the terrible incident.
George, a fan of movies, now owns a theatre and living a peaceful life. However, his life takes a U-turn when a new Inspector arrives in the town and opens the investigation into the murder of the cop’s son. Drishyam 2 looks like an ideal sequel to Drishyam with loads of thrill, mystery and suspense.

Plot and story
The story is a continuation of the first film. George Kutty and his family trying to live normal lives after the terrible incident. George now owns a movie theatre and planning to get her daughter married. However, his life takes a U-turn when the ghost of the past comes to haunt him. A new Inspector arrives in the town and opens the investigation into the murder of the cop’s son. The onus is now on George to once again trick the police and geta clean chit. Originally, the producers planned for a theatrical release in January 2021. However, they later decided to release the movie directly on OTT. Drishyam 2 will on Amazon Prime Video on Feb 19, 2021.
