Dilwale 2nd Wednesday Collections minimal as Bajirao Mastani rules box office on 13th day
Second Wednesday Box Office Collection

2nd Wednesday (13th Day) Box Office collection report Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale: Bajirao Mastani is still strong while the game is almost over for Dilwale.

After beating SRK’s Dilwale, Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani is consolidating its position at the domestic Box Office. With a brilliant second weekend raising a collection of 34.4 crores at Box Office, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus is holding  a firm grip at Box Office. Though the movie witnessed an expected drop of 50% on its second Monday, it’s performance on weekdays has been consistent with around 5 Crores daily collection figure. Bajirao Mastani collected 5 crores on its second Wednesday as per early estimates and now stands at a total collection of 136.45 crores.

Talking about the other release Dilwale, it seems that the SRK flick is fading at the domestic Box Office with every passing day. After a good opening week with the collection of 102.65 crores, the movie has fallen flat and has shown an inability to revive back. Dilwale now stands at the total of 131.8 crores including 2 crores on its 13th day. The movie is expected to close with the lifetime collection of around 145 crores.

Dilwale Box Office Collection: Highlights

Dilwale 1st Day collection: 21 crores (3rd highest of 2015)
Dilwale 1st Weekend collection: 65.09 crores (3rd Highest opening weekend of 2015)
Dilwale 1st Week Collection: 102.65 crores (3rd Highest opening week of 2015)
Dilwale 2nd Weekend Collection: 21.23 Crores
Dilwale 13th Day Box Office Collection: 2 Crores
Dilwale Total Collection: 131.8 crores

The list of top 10 grossers of 2015 is almost final now. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is way ahead of other with the lifetime collection of 321 crores. Salman Khan’s Diwali release, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is at the second position (lifetime collection of 208 crores). Bajirao Mastani will beat Kangana Ranaut’s TWMR to acquire the third position.

The clash between Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani has severely affected both movies. If released individually, both movies would have easily crossed 200 crores at the Box Office. The average performance of Dilwale is a wake-up call for SRK as his last three movies have not been liked by the critics. The actor needs to come back strongly with his upcoming movies Fan and Raees.
