Dilwale 10th Day (2nd Sunday) Collection: Second Weekend Box Office Report

Dilwale 10th Day Collection – SRK and Kajol starer Dilwale had a low second weekend with the Box Office collection of 21.23 crores.

The game is almost over for Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale as the movie had an average second weekend despite Christmas festivities. No one would have thought that the movie will fall flat after a good 100+ crores opening week. Dilwale failed to take advantage of the big Christmas holiday and collected only 8.11 crores on its second Friday. The movie further dipped on Saturday and collected only 6 crores. As per official reports, Dilwale 10th day collection is 7.12 crores.

Dilwale is severely affected by its clash with Bajirao Mastani. Dilwale’s second-weekend collection is only 60% of Bajirao Mastani. With 7.12 crores on second Sunday, Dilwale now stands at the total collection of 123.88 crores.

Dilwale is the 4th highest grosser of Bollywood in 2015. The movie is just behind Bajrangi Bhaijaan (320.5 crores), PRDP (208 crores) and TWMR (152 crores), and is expected to close in as 5th Highest Grosser as Bajirao Mastani will soon overtake Dilwale in this list.

Even though Dilwale is SRK’s 6th 100 Crores film, it performed poorly as compared to his last two movies- Chennai Express (227 crores) and Happy New Year (203 crores). The movie is Varun Dhawan’s 2nd 100 Crore grosser after ABCD 2, which stands 6th in the list of highest grosser of Bollywood 2015.

Considering the average performance of the movie, we expect Dilwale to continue its struggle in coming days. Dilwale will surely fall short of 200 crores, a figure achieved by SRK’s last two release Chennai Express (227 crores) and Happy New Year (203 crores).
