Purani Jeans is directed by Tanushri Chattrji Bassu and produced by Manju Lulla. It is presented under the banner of Eros International. and is slated to release on May 2 2014.
The film will have Tanuj Virwani (son of actress Rati Agnihotri), Izabelle Leite (made her debut in Sixteen), Aditya Seal, Sarika are in main leads and Rati Agnihotri herself is also playing a role in the film. Manoj Pahwa, Rajit Kapoor, Kamini Kaushal, Param Baidwaan, Raghav Kakkar, Kashyap Kapoor and Kashika Chopra will appear in supporting roles.
The soft romantic number is the unplugged version of the original song sung by KK. It is beautifully crooned by Sona Mohapatra and composed by Ram Sampath while Prashant Ingole has written the lyrics.. The music is very soothing and melodious though, the KK version looks more impressive.
The video features the female singer Sona Mahapatra holding a mike along with some romantic moments from the film involving the lead stars of the movie.
