After making his successful Bollywood debut, Kolaveri Di fame Dhanush has reached a new height in his career.
Rajnikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush will soon be adding a tick to what is any actor’s Bucket List. After all, he will soon be seen in a Hollywood movie and that too in a lead role. Iranian French director Marjane Satrapi will be directing the movie titled ‘The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Cupboard’.
The story-line of the movie revolves around a conjurer Aja, from a forgotten Indian colony of artists, who is sent to Paris on a secret mission by his mother. The movie will also feature the Uma Thurman (WOW!) and San Andreas fame Alexandra Daddario.
Marjane Satrapi is very excited about the movie and the fact that the protagonist is an Indian magician who is witty, funny and full of grace. The shooting is scheduled to start by the mid of 2016 and will take place in parts of India, France, Italy and Morocco. When Marjane was asked why she chose Dhanush for this role, she said-
“As I was watching various Indian movies, Dhanush became the most obvious choice – his intelligence, his killer smile, his ability to enter fully into the skin of the character he played (and I can go on and on forever) made me confident that he was the one.”
