Demon Slayer Mugen Train gets a release date in the United States and Canada, both for theatrical and digital release.

So, the wait is over. Mugen Train is set to arrive in the United States and Canada, and fans can’t be more excited. Aniplex of America and Funimation have teamed up for the North American release of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train. As per the official Demon Slayer account on Twitter: “Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train arrives in theaters, 4DX, and IMAX screens in North America subbed and dubbed on April 23.”

The film will release on big screens in both subtitled as well as English dub with tickets going on sale from April 9, 2021 at Funimation website.

There is no update on the release in other international territories. However, one can expect limited screenings in the UK and Ireland, based on the release of similar-sized animes in the past.

Mugen Train will be available digitally on Apple TV, Microsoft Store, Vudu, Google Play, PlayStation Store, and Amazon from June 22, 2021, with pre-order commencing from April 26, 2021. What Demon Slayer is about?

Demon Slayer follows the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who wants to become a demon slayer after his family gets killed and his younger sister Nezuko turns into a demon.

In the movie, Tanjiro and his friends embark on a new mission. They investigate a series of mysterious disappearances that occurred on the Mugen train. However, it is a daunting task as the train is quite long and seemingly endless. The movie is about the struggle and roadblocks, the members of the Demon Slayer group have to face. The mission is to find a demon that has killed more than 40 demon slayers.

With Demon Slayer season 2 set to arrive in 2021 – it’s important that fans watch Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie before the second chapter drops. The movie is a direct sequel to the 2019 hit anime TV series and acts as a bridge between the first and second seasons. Season 1 of Demon Slayer is available on Netflix. It advisable you watch it before the film hits theaters on April 23.
