Deepika Padukone to team up with Farhan Akhtar after six years for a Bejoy Nambiar movie.
According to a report of a leading daily, after Wazir, Bejoy Nambiar is set to team up with Farhan Akhtar once again for what is said to be his most ambitious project till date. For this project, Deepika Padukone to team up with Farhan Akhtar after they last worked together in Karthik Calling Kartik in 2010.
The scripting is currently in progress and Farhan has agreed to come on board. He will also produce the film under the banner of Excel Entertainment. Apparently, Bejoy is very keen on casting Deepika Padukone as the female lead. A source close to the development revealed, “Bejoy had written the script years ago but the film is taking shape only now.It’s his dream project. The initial plan was to start this before the Agni Natchathiram remake but the team is yet to zero in on the female lead. Deepika Padukone is among the actresses who have been approached. The makers are are waiting for her to return from the xXx: Return of Xander Cage shoot. Meanwhile, Farhan is set to head to the US to shoot for Nisha Pahuja’s upcoming documentary on the girl child so it’ll be a while before Bejoy’s film goes on the floors.”
