We told you yesterday how Peshwa Bajirao’s kin Mohini Karkarey wrote an open letter to Sanjay Leela Bhansali accusing him of not doing his research properly. Apart from this the song Pinga is also being criticized by some people who think Bhansali had ignored the historical aspects of the time when Peshwas ruled and focused only on the glamour quotient!
The topic is still hot, and there’s been no response yet from Bhansali’s side.
But Deepika Padukone has given her reaction to the issue. When asked whether she knows about the whole Pinga controversy, she said,“Yes, I read some stories about it today. But I have no idea what it’s all about.” She turned defensive when asked about her opinion on the matter, “I think the best person to talk about this would be Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and I guess, I would rather let him clear it.”
The trailer of Bajirao Mastani will be released today at around 6 pm.
