Last few weeks, many rumors surrounding Deepika Padukone and beau Ranveer Singh have been going around in Tinsel Town. There were many reports claiming that Deepika and Ranveer have secretively got engaged but these rumors have been put to rest as Deepika Padukone is neither pregnant, nor engaged and not even getting married!

During a recent interaction with the media at FDCI India Couture Week 2016, where Deepika Padukone was the showstopper for Manish Malhotra’s collection, she put all these rumors about herself and Ranveer Singh to rest. Here is what she had to say-

“I think this is the right opportunity for me to clarify… there is no such plan anytime soon. I am not pregnant, I am not engaged, I am not married. I am not planning to get married anytime soon.”

A few days ago, when Ranveer Singh returned to India after finishing the shooting of his upcoming movie Befikre in Paris, he was asked about this secret engagement and whether there is any truth behind it. His reaction was the best. He said “Aree kya baat kare rahe ho. Subah Subah neend bhi pura nai hua.”
