Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan to recreate the magic of Piku but with a more intense chemistry.
Deepika Padukone, the Mastani has already replaced the Kashibai, Priyanka Chopra in the upcoming Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Gustakhiyan‘. Earlier we have seen the face-off between the two scintillating ladies of Bollywood in the latest blockbuster ‘Bajirao-Mastani‘ and the duos have swayed away the audience with admiration on a roll.
Gustakhiyan is a Jasmeet Rena’s directorial and produced by none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The official confirmation yet awaits the star cast which includes Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead role but it is very much confirmed that Priyanka Chopra is not into Gustakhiyan.
Gustakhiyan will be a real-life-based story of the articulate poet Sahir Ludhianvi and his love Amrita Pritam and their passionate relationship. Deepika Padukone has earlier also shared the screen with Irrfan Khan in a timid plot of ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ but later in ‘Piku’ they both captured their own space. Now, in ‘Gustakhiyan‘ we would witness the duo again but with a more romantic sight of it.
Well, this is just the unofficial announcement and no dates are confirmed for the release, however, we eagerly awaits to see some more intense romance between Piku and Rana but in the cloak of Sahir and Amrita.
