On the last day of the first week, Dear Zindagi dropped further and earned around 3 crores. At the end of the first week, The total domestic collection of Dear Zindagi stands at 47 crores. This is a good number for a niche women-centric film. The numbers could have been higher but the movie witnessed ore than a usual drop on weekdays.

The first-week collection of Dear Zindagi is either 13th or 14th highest of 2016 depending on final numbers. (Top opening week grossers of 2016)

Dear Zindagi still needs a decent hold in coming days to be a Box Office hit. From today, it will face tough competition from Vidya Balan’s Kahaani 2. Kahaani 2 is one of the most awaited movies of 2016 as its prequel is considered one of the best thrillers in Bollywood history.

Dear Zindagi is made on a budget of around 50 crores. The producers of the movie are already in the safe zone but the movie still needs to fare well in the coming days to be a profitable venture for the distributors.
